MECHANICAL BUILDING SERVICES DEPARTMENT LEAD - PHARMA - IRELAND
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Client is expanding their existing Building Services team and now
require a Mechanical Building Services Department Lead to support and
lead projects from their Dublin office.
This is a key role for the company.
As Mechanical Building Services Department Lead , you will lead and
take ownership for stages of projects from concept to detailed design
on projects largely within the Biopharmaceutical and Pharmaceutical
industry.
Your responsibilities will include leading various stages of projects
from concept to detailed design.
Lead Technical and Safety reviews
Design of Building services engineering design – lead the
preparation of AFDs, P&IDs, and equipment sizing calculations, heat
load calculations
Managing people in the execution of the project life cycle
Developing innovative design solutions for new projects.
Overseeing HVAC system BIM modelling progress by your team
Planning resources, measuring and reporting of progress of resources
against agreed deliverables
Estimating resource requirements for projects through the life cycle
Delivery of agreed design scope within budget hours and schedule
Interfacing with client design team/end user
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Building services or Mechanical Engineering (Level 8)
Significant design experience in the pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical
or Chemical industry.
Led teams, investing time in coaching and developing future leaders.
Strong design experience of HVAC and Utilities; including Steam, LPHW,
CHW, Ability to work and guide teams is essential
Proficient in CAD and BIM (REVIT / Navisworks)
Excellent IT and Communication skills
Experience in energy systems and energy saving analysis is an
advantage.
